    He's a fan player so if come January he's not signing and still got months left we'll terrorise him..

    I have said this before, but I think he might think twice before joining a EPL team. He needs game time, he needs to be the star, he needs to be in a club who really values his services. This does not occur in EPL, yet. What he has now in Celtic is very rare, but also because we have been screaming for that exact player, and Guidetti has been screaming for a club like Celtic. I really hope he stays 2-3 years. This would be great for him. Winning the league, hopefully a cup and some European football after Christmas, then a more competetive league next year + CL football.

    It would be a major surprise if John Guidetti didn't sign a contract and stay with Celtic for a number of years :87: After previous favourites put the lure of money ahead of the possibility of European football .
    I am not certain that Guidetti would want the competition for a single striking position that Deila prefers . Celtic would in the long term need three good strikers to ensure they had always one fit and ready to play . I have to say , rather than kick on after scoring against Ross County despite Celtic been in complete control and playing good attacking football , I was disappointed in his over - all performance until he was subbed . Hopefully he will show more impressive form when he returns to the team . Like all new players to a club , it takes some players longer than others to strike continuous good play .

    I'm not so sure, he strikes me as the kind of guy who would rather play for a side like Feyenoord, Celtic rather than some run of the mill side who can offer a pay cheque but very little else.

    Time will tell. Hope to christ he stays.
