Ffs good point that...last night was daydreaming about him scoring one of these against the filth. Looks like that won't happen.

For Ipswich. He's hardly been prolific either. The Championship is a poor league. Fair play to him though, he is a much better player now than he was here.

many teams in the championship are better than our SPL competition. 10 goals in 16 starts this season is a * of a record. Good on him for turning it around after failing here.

He really hasn't impressed me so far. I had high hopes for him as well, seems to be another one with injury problems, nowhere to be seen again tonight.

However, he is the exact type of winger that I just cannot grow to like. He is just all about pace and running about daft. No real finesse or technical skill. Has a rocket of a shot mind you.

Cannot see us keeping him, especially as he will be away in January at the Nations cup, no?

I think it might have been but hasn't he had a couple injuries before that? I don't know if it's just me but he doesn't seem to have played much so far.

I doubt we will make his move permenant, who knows. He could be a decent central midfielder I think but I'd rather a more technically gifted winger.

The fact he's only played 4 is why he's a letdown

Agreed. Bit of a damp squib thus far.

I was expecting him to be starting every game, but that's not exactly happened.

Whats the script with Wakaso these days? Has he been on the bench for any recent games? Is he away playing in some foreign cup?

Or is he just not the player we thought he would be.

Bar his goal at Salzburg, I don't remember him lighting up any game with a special moment. Runs about bit but what else has he shown.

Tony Tony Stokes has obviously nailed down this position to an extent. He' not been fantastic every game but he get's involved, get's on the scoresheet, links up with Izzy etc.

And it's not even his natural position.

I'm doubting someone like Wakaso if he can't even budge Tony Stokes from that squad.

Right now, I can't see any reason to keep him. Give his to tyhe end of the year to make his mark I suppose, but why has it went so Derk Boeriggter for him?

I know he was on the bench at the weekend, but before that I remember he was out for a while - maybe he's just getting back to full fitness? In any case he hasn't done enough to really excite me yet, will definitely give him to the end of his spell but can't see him dislodging Stokes, Johansen or Forrest in any of the att mid roles, Ronnie seems to have settled on them as his first choices.

He's not really caught the eye much and Stokes' form has been good recently. I think he'll be in the Ghana squad for the African cup too so that'll limit any potential game time.

I would say there is a clause in the contract regarding domestic appearances and a loan fee and this is the reason why we dont see him. Cynical sure but Lawwell absolutely.
