All managers are different styles Rodgers,Lennon MON, but the most important thing is to find a way to win.

I think a few (including myself) had there heads swayed by the big names linked with the job.
Although I still have my reservations on Lennon's ability as a top top manager.. he's not a rookie manager anymore , as he was in his first spell and I think the board know this and (hopefully) will back him as an established manager should be backed.

We all know we need it in this summer of mass turnover.

Such a brilliant post but wish the Rodgers line was redacted. Mainly because folk are for some reason thinking he was an average appointment.

He created the most attractive football the Championship had seen for years, the EPL had seen for years and the SPFL had seen for years.

He ended up being superficial but his ability as a manager didn't change just because his mind was so easily by money.

Anyway I should probably stop responding to this thread cause I'm drinking my Treble Treble champagne and I get soooo reactionary on drink and only McGuire deserves to be quoted when pished pointing out pish.

Fair enough. I still think your original post was a disgrace, however maybe that is another thread.

    Has to be..

Will he though? I have my doubts mate..

It all screams of Lawwell happy to have him back. Won't ask for too much. Kennedy still there and having them as his wee team carrying on similarly to the snake but with less stress and tension..

    Won't work that way though..

Hopefully I'm wrong and he get's full control. He's in a stronger position than last time to be fair as the rookie. Time will tell..

    This is ludicrous!

I have never seen such rejection of a manager before at our club (and he hasn’t officially taken it full time yet)

This furore is even worse than when Mowbray was at his lowest.

    Mental stuff

    I don
He must have been given assurances considering he basically walked due to differences with the board last time, otherwise why come back and take it on permanently again.
I don't think he will be on top dollar either, wonder if that will see the money saved on that go on transfers since he's said about wanting it to be his team. Need to push on and bury these * and get the 10 and the signings should reflect that.

Have you seen the way our team has played since he has become the manager? Scraping by against mediocre sides, drawing against Livi & Hibs and getting beat of a * Rangers team who are getting hype from the media just because they are slightly better than the utter, utter * they have been in the last few years. We need 4 or 5 Eduoard type signings that will walk into the team and be of his quality if we want to secure the title next season. Are we going to get them? Probably not. Brendan would have won the league next year and the year after that with this squad I reckon. Lennon won't.

He'll stick with Lustig. Lustig can't move anymore.

It was. Technically the internet has been around since when Jock Stein was here.

A * Hun team who will be losing half a squad this summer as well.

Calm it. Let's panic when there is a real need, eh?

His wages will be pennies compared with the scumbag just away. That'll of been a big factor 100%..

He'd done a good job last time and left to try and have a crack at England. Went to Bolton who were in allsorts of financial trouble then back to Hibs where he done well until this season where he had a nightmare....so I'd say assurance wise I think he'll just be happy to be back at a massive job, his team and the city he lives. Don't think it'll have to much bearing on his budget..

He'll likely lose at least one big asset this summer and that will determine what we spend. Pathetic really with the money we have..

Of course they will. Duff is a friend of the Desmonds and Kennedy is our manager in waiting.
