Where do I say he wasn't ? But before jumping on the bandwagon I look for proof. If he's guilty, let's hope they get proof and lock him up. Do you have any proof he was rioting ? Yes or no.

You lot who make these judgements WITHOUT PROOF are no different from the narrow minded bigots you slag off.

Martin.

have you ever policed a serious public situation.

I have.

If there is serious disorder on the street an INNOCENT person will make themselves scarce to avoid any trouble. (if they have a brain cell)

The fact he CONFRONTING Police in a riot is MORE than enough proof of his involvement and guilt.

Try dismounting from your very high horse and grasp reality.

It's not me that is struggling with reality. Do you have any proof that he was rioting ? Or does proof not matter ? Maybe he doesn't have a brain cell and he did hang about watching the mayhem, it's plausible given his previous. The only people on their high horse are those who say he is definitely guilty without any proof !

If there is proof let's hope he gets put away.

Do you have any proof ?

What's happening here is a wee mini cyber 'mob mentality' not that different in it's psychology from a mob of aggressive huns.

And no I am not and never have been a policeman. Of course no policeman has ever batoned an innocent person. Ever.

For a variety of reasons being a scumbag and wearing a huns top are not YET enough to merit a jail sentence.

Martin i know there is no proof but if you look at this way, he murdered a guy just for the fact that he didn`t like him and being a celtic fan was part of that dislike. Ireckon that kinda sums this guy up.

And for that I totally agree that he is a scumbag. COMPLETE SCUMBAG.

But as things stand (and I hope it changes BTW) we have no proof that he was rioting. I am not going to find somebody guilty of something without proof.

God forbid one day you or I could be up in court facing some serious charge. You, and I, would definitely demand that the prosecution provide proof of our guilt.

Martin mate is he your next door neighbour?

If he is then I can fully understand your innocent until proven guilty stance about him. As I also would not want to be on his bad side.

Maybe invite him to your house he seems like a nice chap.

Do you have any proof ? YOU ALREADY ASKED THAT SEVERAL TIMES

AND OF COURSE NO PERSON HAS RIOTED - EVER

I asked the questiom @ WHY WAS HER THERE DURING THE SERIOUS DISORDER ???

If the Police decide to restore order on the streets you DO WHAT THEY SAY MY FRIEND.

That's why they get paid.

You'r jibe about the batons is a really cheap shot by the way.

If your son or daughter was being attacked by a mob , woulsd you object to Police using batons to protect your family then, or would you need EVIDENCE and WRITTEN PROOF that you family was at serious risk first ????

I have asked it several times - because no one has answered it. The reason no one has answered it is because the answer, so far, is 'no' - and that doesn't suit the lynch mob on here.

Obviously people have rioted. WTF ?

It is still important that when doling out guilt it is pinned on those who were proven to be rioting.

If it came to light that, in another case altogether, someone had been the victim of police brutality, would you not want the officer being blamed to be PROVEN guilty ?

EDIT

I missed the last part of your post.

It is not a cheap shot. You are being oversensitive about it. It is a fact that somewhere, sometime, someplace someone will have been wrongly batoned. That's a fact Tamster. My pointing that out is not an insinuation that cops go round willy nilly laying in to innocent folk. But it has happened.
