Maciej, didn't realise he moved away from Larisa to play in Cyprus for AC Omonia. Good level for him i think.

Some of these cypriot teams offer big money to attract ageing players to their league- the case with Magic me thinks

Thought he was going back to Poland

    All the best there Magic.

(same team as Giorgos Efrem- ex-rangers or on loan, Christos Karipidis- ex hearts, Bruno Aguir - ex hearts and also Michalis Konstintanou- Panathinaikos and Olympiakos)

Didnt know that either tbh, well in for him, no hard feelings for Zurawski here, just couldnt maintain the terrific first season he had with us.

£2 million and sold him for £500k, he was integral to the 05/06 season though.

Didnt know that. Always find it interesting to know where the old Bhoys are going and what they are up to. Good on him liked him as a player here, didnt do much wrong. Thought Aguiar would have found a better team than that aswell tbh.

Shifty haircut and a dodgy dress sense but he knew where the goal was when he was on form did Magic.

    Complete and utter donkey :38:

Guys, check out his scoring record and who his goals came against, you'll see him for the fraud he was. If we played Dunfermline every week he'd be great.

Take out one meaningless Ibrox goal and he never did the business when it mattered.

He was also a complete and utter arrogant * when I met him as well.

had a great first season with us scoring 20 and only played over half the games due to injury, highlights scoring 4 in 1 game and scoring the winner in a 1-0 over the huns at ibrox, after the world cup in 2006 he never really did much just stop start with injuries but never really got back on the goal trail

At the time i thought it was decent Business to get him offloaded and get something for him considering he was never, ever, going to get back to the level he showed previously. You would want him on the end of things yes, he was a very good finisher, but I know every fan loves a forward with a great work ethic.

Zurawski was absolutly stranded after Petrov left. Petrov and Zurawski's link up play was fantastic between midfield and attack.

He went seriously downhill when he never had that quality there. Was lucky to be playing in the shadow of Big Bad John as well.

Had one half decent season - bet he wishes he could've played Dunfermline every week, as they were just about the only team he seemed to consistantly score against. Think after that first season, after Petrov & BBJ had moved on it fell to Magic & Miller to score the goals - one guy that was lazy, but could finish if it was on a plate & the other that ran all day, but couldn't finish to save himself. Always thought if you could combine those two players into one, it'd make a formidable forward.

Really, considering how few goals the forwards produced in 2006/07 season, I'm still not certain that it wasn't so much a case of us winning the league, as it was the Huns imploding (with all the PLG carry on) & Hearts self-destruction that virtually handed it to us & ensured the league title ended up in Paradise.... oh, that & this was the season when Boruc was at his absolute brilliant best & should've been POTY ahead of Naka, IMO.
