Wedge-tailed eagle above the gaff, not ideal with a small puppy running around the back door.

Majestic bird though, first one I have seen around the city.

Thanks for your thoughts my friend. A mate and I were walking to the pub a few years ago around dusk and he gave out an almighty scream. He pointed up. There was about 5/6 Pipistrelle Bats circling above our heads. WHAT a sight, but we did run like *.

Aye, cool to see, couldn’t let the pup out though as it would of had no problem nicking the wee thing!

Had one almost swooping my windscreen driving between mine sites out in the outback, wingspan is massive, up to 7ft!

We love whale watching and have made trips expressly to see Orca pods for example. Next summer we intend to go to Vancouver to see a pod there. But in general, we've been fortunate to see a great many sea mammals

Most impressive or memorable would have to be a great number of humpbacks off of Kauai during mating season - we were so close and there was just so much breaching & activity. Jaw dropping really that made us forget the incredible Napali coastline which is remarkable in it's own right

I've never seen a Golden Plover mate, so I'm jealous of you too. The closest I've came to one is a Grey Plover. I love having that on my list. All Plovers are cool

Felt like we were in the middle of a Sir David Attenborough documentary, probably around 10-12 of us on the boat - just laughing because we couldn't believe what we were watching. Surreal, complete with amazing background of the Napali coast & blue waters. Beautiful experience

My wife & I, we love getting immersed in scenic nature and being able to observe wildlife in their habitat without disturbing them - well, we live for it. We include our children in it as well and they share our love for animals & discovering new destinations. Life is short, make the most of it

On my daily 2nd walk with Ruby Boxer i heard the iconic call of a Peregrine,a lovely * female,it was stationery on a Telegraph Pole on farmland bordering the Housing Estate, got brilliant views:lol:
Also this morning the local Juv Green Woodpecker was calling but hiding very well in the local woodland on my first daily walk with Ruby Boxer, who of course is the brains of the outfit:giggle1:

My wife and I were waiting at the bus stop Saturday morning. All of a sudden, about 25/30 Swallows were flying all about us. They were diving, just avoiding the traffic, and a few times I had to duck incase I was hit. On the way home,we saw a stunning Kestrel sitting on the roof of the building facing my home. One of my favourite Birds of Prey, a stunning little bird. WHAT a morning.

    I'm just back from Russia.
I was miles from nowhere...I also saw white tailed eagles..belugas in the White Sea..and the biggest seals I've ever seen.
I never saw Brown Bears but they were there as I saw many fresh footprints and half eaten salmon by the river (apparently they are very shy) and scarper as soon as humans approach.
Of course I came into contact with many Atlantic salmon..I made a wee video ...it's probably the least inhabited place I've ever visited..truly wild and very beautiful.
