Yeah , just wanted to point out that I only saw the House Martin at the wash bay ( for power washing vehicles etc ) . I hope my punctuation made that clear , but after reading back my own post I wanted to clarify matters . I also spotted a dead Badger near Stirling area last Thursday , and when heading back North on Sunday I saw another one . Both road kill victims were only a few miles apart . I've still not seen a live Badger , or a live Otter .

Anyone see these three in SAN Antonio stealing a rare shark from the aquarium? Wrapped it in a blanket and disguised it as a baby and pushed it out in a baby pram. Staff followed the trail of water to where the car was parked. They finally caught the thieves and the * had an aquarium decked out like the one he visited in his home.

True mate. My wife's always telling me to pay attention when we're out because I'm always looking around for some wildlife. She has got a point when I'm looking at various birds while I'm driving. I'm always on the look out mate.

In a car park this morning, and saw 2 Magpies fighting with a Squirrel. Well, when I say fighting, I mean Pecking at it's head to scare it away. The Squirrel didn't do much fighting, just a lot of running.

After a summer when I've witnessed very few wasps , there now seems to be an overabundance of wasps . Also lots of hoverfly knocking about too . Yesterday I saw several ladybirds moving around on the local bowling green .
This mornings heavy rain brought several blackbirds to my drying green . No doubt that they were expecting worms to appear from the sodden ground .

A stunningly beautiful bird is the Whimbrel mate. I once got right close to a couple a few years ago at Aberlady Bay in Fife. Beautiful. And I agree with your names for Grouse shooters and Pigeon fanciers mate. * to a man.

Autumn starts tomorrow, tfft,i love Autumn, especially dawn and dusk.As Night came in for Dusk today on my local Beach i heard the full of atmosphere Tu Tu Tu Tu Tu call of a couple of Greenshank,a call used in countless Tv Progs.
Also this morning i went up on a large Moorland 30 miles away or so,i was disappointed not to get Hen Harrier, still not seen one this year:31:.But plent of Buzzards and Kestrels hunting and a Red Kite was noted.

After Winter, Autumn is my favourite season of the year. I went to my sister in law's on Sat, as my brother in law died on Friday. Coming home from Airdrie, I went round a roundabout, and in the middle of it was a flock of Lapwings. Never seen anything like that in my life. The road was as busy as * as well. Great sighting. Also got great sightings of a few Buzzards sitting on fence posts, Kestrels and Lots of Jackdaws.
