    That's great, I am looking out for them too.

    I'm looking out for the swifts and sand martins too.

    You usually hear the swifts before you see them. Screeching and Shrieking :giggle1:

    Saw my first Swallow of the year about a fortnight ago and sand martins around a month ago.

    Got cracking views of singing Lesser Whitethroat, Garden Warbler and Redstart on my local patch this morning. The local Family of foxes were happily chilling out as well. A hunting Sparrowhawk was also seen.

    If you live near a local store that specialises in reefs pay a visit to there. Usually the staff are keen to talk you through the basics. There is lots of forums that have active communities to give you pointers. From my experience take things slowly and be patient. If you rush into things you’ll end up disappointed and broke lol.

    Lol, thanks mate. I'll have a wee look tonight. I'm out of the house too much during the day for work to have a dog so always thought stuff like that would suit me better.
