This morning i was delighted to confirm 2 singing Redstarts in my local Woodland, this really is fantastic for my local patch, i really hope 1 or 2 females pair up with them, it is ideal habitat. Also this morning in my local patch a new pair of Stonechat discovered, so 2 pairs here:36:

And also 1 cool Hawfinch heard and seen flying into the Old Wood and with stunning weather coming next week i look set finally to get up the Mountains with Ruby Roo and also on another day get onto the Moors and Forest with a good mate.

A few from Colgagh yesterday morning, it was very quiet only for a pair of Little Grebe who, to my surprise, were nesting about 15 feet from where i was perched.

A full morning on my local patch with Ruby Roo was very enjoyable, the sun came out but lovely cool conditions but bright enough for my first Brimstone Butterfly of the year, a big Bright bright yellow butterfly, my Good friend will love that:84:
Also the 2 local Redstarts were busy singing, got great views of one, also one of the local Stonechat pairs showed well. The highlight though was one of the 2 local pairs of Ravens who were proudly showing their 2 fully grown the local ropes.
Several Tree Pipit also seen passing through and also to please my good friend i saw my first Holly Blue Butterfies of the year as well as a handsome Orange Tip:84: Also back to the birds, my first Whitethroats of the year and first Sedge Warbler.

I thank you Johnie for these close ups of the Little Grebe. I didn't know the small bright patch on the side if their faces were a light green colour. Always assumed it was white. Great close ups.
