Your Wildlife Sightings!

A few from Kellystown at the weekend, there was quite a few Mergansers around but i couldn't get a good shot of them in a flock as there was a thick fog around, i also got to see the rear end of some Brent Geese as they flew overhead.

 

I came on here at the right time with this Cool Photos Just Put On Johnie.

I love the oyster catcher and merganser ones.
Brent geese in sickle flight mode is cool too.

Hi, sorry I’ve not been in for a while. Work and play have gotten in the way. However, my photography ( play ) seems to be on the right track, a few weddings, events, family shoots etc.
Here are a couple of shots you might like.

 

Crackin pics there Mr Goodyear , did you make a reflection pool for them?

 

Lobos coral - puffed up after a feeding of mysis shrimp. They enjoy being direct fed once or twice week with something protein rich

That small mouth in the centre is deceiving for how much they eat

 

More reef spam. Haven’t been able to get outside much due to working excessively. Lucky to have a slice of nature in my house

 

On my local patch this morning me and Ruby Roo flushed a handsome Woodcock very close by, also a Reed Bunting called as it flew overhead.

I will put this in wild ilfe , i found out that a snail can sleep for 3 years.

Am gonna be building some bird boxes/hedgehog houses/bee hotels and the likes in the (hopefully) near future. Even planters and just general wee bits of furniture etc. I've applied for a garage/lockup to work in so just whenever I get that sorted oot.

So will post pics when I have some stuff if any of you would like stuff for yer gardens
