That Depeche Mode when we score!!
They are a scarce Autumn Passage migrant, mostly seen on coasts but can turn up anywhere with bushes and small trees, a very few winter. The Northern Isles, North and the east coast get the most, but the odd few can be seen in the Glasgow area but Good Friend would be rare there. The Fife coastal sights like Fife Ness are good in the Early Autumn for them with other scarce and rare gems:50:

Thanks for the info good friend. I've done a lot of birdwatching in the Fife area. Absolutley stunning part of the country. Elie is a great spot sea-birds and dabblers. We've had many a great day in Fife

I saw a heron getting mobbed by both crows and seagulls this morning over the Hurlet. A big bird that flies fly very slow with heavy wing flaps and long legs trailing behind them. Other birds don't like them because they occasionally take young chicks from their nests.

Ah that’s a cleaner shrimp, usually found inside the mouths of Moray eels

    sample image below.

They clean the parasites, decaying food or old scales from fish. They play an important role in their ecosystem

Junichi fox turning up for breakfast. He's six years old and was born in the garden next door.

Yeah, I do love my foxes! They are very cheeky things with different personalities. I normally feed up to 5! At the moment, it's just 2 thank eff!

I made a quick visit to Colgagh yesterday morning for a look as i had to drive to Galway and had an hour to kill before leaving, there are a few Whooper Swans on the loch now, there seems to be three or four families with varying amounts of cygnets attached, they were very loud and were constantly bickering, hopefully they'll stay for the winter.
