    A few from yesterday, i went out early for a walk around Raghly harbour and surprise surprise it was sunny and warm and a joy to be out in, i saw quite a variety of small birds and going by the songs they were singing they were just as glad as i was to see a bit of summer weather.

    I can see where my good friend is coming from for these species can be very hard to make out for they are very similar but yes these are Juv Linnets:50:

    PS I Have seen mixed flocks of both species and they can blend in together making it difficult to count the number of either species :31::56:

    Cheers Pete, i find it hard to tell small brown birds apart, even when i enlarge pictures of certain species on the laptop i still struggle, especially at this time when the young birds haven't got their * plumage yet.:43:

    It's great Pete a couple of years ago out dad's back was just a paved driveway then he started getting pot's and bulbs etc and growing flowers it's brilliant to see the bee's and all sorts of insects flying about them :)
