That Depeche Mode when we score!!
Yesterday on a delightful full Dusk walk with Ruby i watched from a wee vantage point in an Old Village Graveyard and counted 5 Woodcock flying one at a time out of the nearby Woods to feed in the nearby fields, but still no Owl this year!!! If i do not see an Owl this year it will be the first time in decades!!
Also yesterday on our first walk i got delightful views of a pair of Sparrowhawk. And this morning 2 handsome Jays flew right past us both.
So can i get an Owl this year??

I had a very rare sight in my back garden yesterday morning. I saw a FIELDFARE on one of the trees in the garden. I've never saw a Fieldfare in any garden, nevermind my own. Good start to the day. We also put our tree up yesterday and the greatest team on the planet won, All in all, a good day.
