Fantastic pictures Johnie :50: Absolutely fantastic :notworthyLove cormorants but I know the fishermen don't like them as they're brilliant at fishing :50:

Thanks Sioux,:50: I found it hard to avoid them at the weekend, i'd imagine the Cormorant isn't too impressed with the fishermen for stealing their dinner.:38:

Superb Good friend. The Siskin is a stunning little bird. The male Siskin looks so cool with it's black cap. Beautiful bird.

Orange plate coral - aggressive coral, has to be kept away from my others as it will have chemical warfare with anything near by. Also stung my hand once or twice

The pictures I see on here are incredible, particularly from folk like Johnboy, Cideermaster and now Idioteque lol.

I've been working in Govanhill for the last month doing refurbs, and I saw a rat yesterday that was honestly as big as a cat.

Gonna walk up the countryside soon and get pictures of buzzards etc.

@cidermaster Not a word of a lie. Walked down a lane in Annette Street, thought it was a cat, actually stood back and it hopped into a hedge. Absolute monster. I have 2 cats and this thing was bigger.

A couple for Pete and John, i took a few pictures of this big fella this morning, he was away on the far side of the bay so the pictures aren't the clearest, i'm guessing Golden Eagle? he has a tag on both wings, one blue and the other yellow, should i report the sighting and location? or are they a common enough site? he/she is a huge bird, i hadn't a clue what i had photographed until i enlarged the pictures on the back of my camera.

I reported the sighting to Birdingireland.com, they replied to say it's a White tailed Eagle.

Thanks Sioux, I hadn't the best start to the day but it turned out pretty good after all, i drove out to Skreen this morning but it was very wet and windy so i decided to head back towards home and i called in to a couple of small estuaries on the way, the birdlife was great, there was Grey Herons, Little Egrets, Wigeons, Godwits, Brent Geese and many other breeds, (i'll post a few pics later) i ended up in Balisodare bay during a dry spell and that's where i saw the Eagle, i didn't know what it was, it was the noise coming from the Gulls that drew my attention to the far side of the bay, it was just a bit too far away to get a detailed picture.

Little street fox. Ran up and down the road the whole night we sat in the bar. Was wise enough to avoid the main road. Nice little character
