A Capri was, and is, a stunningly beautiful car Scotia. It'll look superb in that Green colour.

got one in the early 80's jonboy was my pride and joy absolutely fabulous car to drive .
Had it about 6 years and by then was being badgered to get a more " family " car . Thought I'm not letting it go , so I stored it in a friends barn . Its covered up and is in remarkably good condition , get it out every 6 months just for a wee check over , It's black but when I do re-store it I will be painting it green or old its original colour . Still starts with a booster charge ! .
Prices they go for now it was a wise move keeping it .

I'm old enough to remember Elvis dying. The day after he died, the woman next close to ius gave a few of the children a run down to school, (primary school) in a Capri. There must have been about 5/6 of us crammed into the back. Felt as cool as * getting a run to school in a Capri. She had a radio in her car too. Not many people had then, and all the way down to school, Elvis songs blasting out the window. It is a good memory.

Aye I'm old enough to remember Elvis dying as well , unfortunately my mum was a huge huge Elvis fan and was inconsolable for weeks . my brothers and sisters all clubbed together to send mum and dad a few years later to Memphis and she got to visit Gracelands . She visited his grave there and said it was one of her nicest moments in her life .

Since the weather was stunning yesterday, my family and I went for a drive. We headed for Ardmore Point. Stunning wee area. Beautiful scenery and great for birdwatching. My wife and my son walked on in front as Caroline and I got the bins out. There wasn't much happening, but we did see a couple of Oystercatchers, a stunning Redshank, and lots of Herring, Black-Headed, and Lesser Blacked-Back Gulls.
We drove further on , had some lunch and a wee walk in Helensburgh, then drove further on until we reached the Wee Green Wellie shop in the Highlands. We got a stunning view of a Buzzard, really low down, soaring on the thermals. The Swallows and Housemartins were flying so low, they were nearly hitting people on the head. After a few hours, we decided to head back down the road.
We had a great day, and seeing some bird life was a wee bonus, and I forgot just how stunning the Scottish scenery is. The Highlands is beautiful, and Loch Lomond and it's surrounding areas were amazing.

Nice one @johnboy19 We go down to Ardmore point a lot, love to take the dog down there and stop at the wee garage on the way for an ice cream tub for the dog, he loves it, we usually walk a ways around it and sit on the grass with a view just opposite the Sugar Boat, half of our sandwiches are naturally par for the course. Hope you'ze had a great day my friend.
