    Another very early sizable walk on my local patch today produced my first Spotted Flycatcher of the year,8 Common Crossbill,2 Hawfinch and i may have located a Garden Warbler nest sight?:biggrin: Oh and 6 Shelduck noted

    Love the Hostas. I need to get something like that for a dark corner. I planted some jacobs ladder seeds as they never fail to live in the shade. I'm wanting container plants for this spot but I'm wary of anything that becomes a slug fest which Hostas tend to be lol

    Aye I know what you mean about the Slugs alright, the hostas ended up like lace last year, I've put coarse gravel in the pots this year and there's not a lot of damage so far but there's only so much you can do to stop the wee bassas.

    Thanks Johnie. This is up the Ochil Hills, just outside Stirling.

    Great vantage point on a clear day like today. Didn't do great with the panorama but Wallace monument is on the left of the photo and to the right iin the background is the hills at Loch Lomond.
