That's Arran. The tail end of Bute is in the foreground :50: I never get to pictures the same here. Everything depends on the light and the time of day. You quite literally never get the same view twice. Today was gorgeous but I was out and about working.

We've an apple tree in the garden, and he spent some time checking it over for insects and grubs. There can't be many at this time of the year on the bare branches, but happily he managed to find a couple of beakfulls! ltt.JPG

We are on a pretty hard lockdown now here, we can only go for a 2km walk and back for exercise so wandering around country lanes with a camera is out for the foreseeable future, here's a few from the archives.

Thanks Johniebhoy. Yes they are lovely wee birds that always seem to be having a good time! When I've seen them before, it's always been when they pass through in a big noisy group, but this was on it's own and collecting insects so maybe it has a very early nest somewhere close by.

Don't feel one bit guilty Sioux, you're choosing the mode to use and it's you composing the picture so the camera isn't doing it all :50:, don't worry about how long it's taking to work out how to dial in the correct settings, everybody learns at a different pace and it's a complicated auld process working it out, just take your time, some fine day it will all become clear and the lightbulb will come on :57:
