Got this big fella during my stroll along the river today. Almost looks like he's smiling.

Thanks, BFL. Any view on the pictures? :56: Tbh, I'm not a big fan of gulls but they are impressive and some have cute faces.

Regarding the gulls , not a lot of time for them when they're nesting , angry angry birds . If you lived near the coast you'll know what I mean ! .

On another note , on the farm road taking the kids home I see the farmers are digging out the gulleys , * , my wee niece was desperate for frog or toad spawn this year but I didn't know where to get it . I was relying on these gullys to find some in the spring .

I don't like gulls much either but they're very cute at times. We watch them bullying the ducks and crows. Sometimes they shadow the ducks watching them dive for food and then they pounce! They also pick up shells and drop them from a height to smash them open. Just keep rising and chucking them until the shell breaks. They're getting farther and farther inland following the food.

Talking of bullies, Jeanie, this beast chased all the wee birds this morning when the ground feeder was put out.

I do this to most of my bird pics as I can't get close enough to include some detail.
