What are your favourite TV shows? It doesn't have to be the best written shows, just the most enjoyable ones you've watched over the years.

I'm going to try to make a list of my top 5, but it's tricky.

    1. Game of Thrones
    2. Lost
    3. Dexter
    4. Breaking Bad
    5. True Detective

Difficult to whittle it down to those 5. Honorable mentions to Hannibal, Arrow, Sons of Anarchy and The Walking Dead among others.

Only reason I made another thread is because it feels like that thread is turning into a suggestions thread or people discussing shows after watching only a few episodes. In saying that, mods can merge if need be.

    1. Breaking Bad
    2. Sons of Anarchy
    3. Game of Thrones
    4. True Detective
    5. Peaky Blinders

You could pretty much interchange the top 3, BB and SOA have the advantage over GoT because I binge watched them, BB especially. Never been so transfixed on a screen. Although I'm confident if I'd binge watched every episode of GoT up until the red wedding I would have exploded, literally.

It's definitely the way to watch shows.:smiley-laughing002:

That's why Lost and Dexter are so high up for me. Watched every season of Lost in about 2 months, Dexter in about 3. Which isn't even that bad but felt like a lot!

The year wait for the second half of the last season of Breaking Bad nearly killed me. Took me like a month to stop thinking about it constantly.. * doing that again.

I always think 'I'm gonna watch something new tonight' but then I just end up sticking on the simpsons or something. :smiley-laughing002:

    1. The simpsons (seasons 1-9 and 19-26)
    2. Walking dead
    3. Game of thrones
    4. Breaking bad
    5. American horror story

Don't watch a whole lot of TV but they are all shows that I could watch a whole season in a day or two and they all have re-watch value for me.

Honourable mentions to the wire, sway in the morning (if that counts), wwe and maybe gotham if it keeps going they way it is with a bit less corn.

Love/Hate, Friends, The Simpsons, Fawlty Towers, Royle Family. Not embarrassed to say I still watch Malcolm in the Middle and still find it funny.

I've watched two seasons each of Boarwalk Empire and Dexter, when I get round to watching them they'll probably be in my top 5.
