    What is your favourite music or favourite bands, songs, etc. I am into dance music and all the irish rebel songs and celtic songs. What about the rest of you?

    Like Irish rebel tunes, indie rock but HATE dance music! Well some of it is OK but most is annoying! Hate heavy metal too and all that goth stuff. And I hate house music. Rap is OK! A lot of charts stuff is good too

    there's no type of music i don't like i have over 13,000 mp3s on my hard drive with a huge variety i think you need different sounds for different moods/occasions.

    i used to do a spot of DJ a few years back had a * load of vinyal but i sold it all and it's my biggest regret ever it was all dance music and real early stuff too that you'd never get again.

    i got a good price for them but then i went into the shop were i bought them a few later and he had them all priced at 5 times the price he gave me, i sold him 800 12"s he had some them on sale for 90 quid each. as i said i always regret selling them but i don't listen to too much dance music now it's not the same as it was in 90/95 thats when i was into it.

    Aye, the dance music, especially the trance was at its best back then. The proper non-comercial dance music is best. The comercial dance music, like Clubland, etc. gives the type of music a bad name!!

    Rock, ska, reggae, although I like tons of different styles of music. As the lead singer of my favourite band once said: good music is good music

    Depends how mosh-y it is! I like some rocky stuff, Blink 182 an example (are they too moshy?). I don't dress like one at all though lol, opposite!!

    I consider Blink 182 as punk as I like a few of their songs to. I like rock, but I think Nirvana is the closest id ever go to any of the hard mosh stuff.

    Bought a few albums today, havent listened to em all yet but of the few that I have I can certainly recommend the following;

    Keane - Hopes and Fears
    Snow Patrol - Final Straw
    The Killers - Hot Fuss
    Franz Ferdinand

    Quality if you, like me enjoy that sort of music.

    i got a load of albums myself the other day but there all mostly demo's of up & coming bands in Dublin. There's one of this guy "Tomo" who fancies himself as a rapper funniest * think i've heard in a long time.
