True. By the same token we'd be signing Bernabei though :giggle1:

Probably his best game for us today. Realise there haven’t been many.

Works hard and can take men on which can help open space in these games but his end product is almost non existent. SSHHHHHHOOOOOOTTTTTT.

I still can't wrap my head around his desire to cut inside when playing RW. He almost seems more willing to go down the byline from the left side. Want a Korean to succeed here so badly, but it's just not looking like it's going to happen for Yang. He'll have a few pieces of silverware to his name though.

Best game yet, and I like him. He really tries his best, and he has very tricky feet, but he needs an end product.

I think he is better than Mikey Johnson, certainly physically stronger and not as injury prone.

Grateful, but no idea why they panicked as he got near their goal.

Odds on, he’d have taken it wide and then somehow found a way to play back to our left back further away from goal

Just get him out on loan, it'll benefit everyone.

Shows signs at times that there’s a player in there, but he’s far too inconsistent.

Thought he was OK today but tends to overrun the ball at times. Can be so frustrating but there's definitely something there

I’m on the fence here. Agree with everyone saying the lack of end product is really concerning. But he’s got lightning feet, can put defenders on skates, and seems to have a great motor/attitude. Really think he would have scored if that Dundee defender hadn’t thrown his backside into him as he was shooting. Would have been some goal after two beautiful passes.

I’d keep him around. Obviously, replacing him with a 8-10 million signing would be a huge upgrade. But realistically, Kuhn will probably leave in the next season or two, and we need both new signings and backups at winger. Nothing wrong with giving him more time to prove himself while we bring in others. He’s a till young, and Celtic is a huge step up from his previous professional football.

I bet he’s the type that dazzles in training, and Rodgers keeps thinking it’s going to click in games sometime soon. Granted, it hasn’t yet. Strange that he can be so clever getting by defenders, but isn’t so when it comes to finishing/finding others.

Much better today but a decent performance against Ross County isn’t enough to even come close to changing my opinion on him. Not good enough and if we’re relying on him against Young Boys we’re in a bit of trouble.

He looks scared to finish. I like him outside the box but he’s done.

Still want rid of him, but willing to admit that he's unlucky not to have more assists than he does. He has put in quite a lot of good balls that our other attackers could have done better with.

If we get another LW in this window, send him on loan to see if a run of games will get him firing, and increase his value.

I'd say Ki Seung-Young was a success But that was a while ago

    Cha Du-Ri certainly was not

Even Yang I thought had a really good game. He's been in and out and had his chances, hasn't he?

Yeah, I think it is a challenge for Yang in terms of the guys in front of him who are doing so well. So he's had limited game time. What we see in him every day is that he works so hard at his game. Sometimes, especially when you're an attacking player, when you don't play so much, there's always a chance that you come in and you try to force things. But for me, he gives his all. He gives everything.

Yes, he needs to be more efficient. You know, attacking players have to be able to create goals and score goals as well as do that pressing function that we want. He gives absolutely everything.

He was unlucky. He had a great bit of skill. That nearly made him a goal, but the keeper made a good save. He makes a great run. You see his desire to get into the position that leads to the penalty. So in terms of effort, he gives absolutely everything. He did well at the weekend.

Is he one you think you can develop? You want to develop all the players, but given what you're talking about on the other side, is he something you think you can get to the next level?

That's just time and patience. To get anywhere as a player you need that mentality also. We've always worked and given our best to all the players. It's about talent and how that accelerates going forward.

He's a young guy who's adapted so well to come on over from Korea and speaking English now, translating with the players. It's a huge testament to him. He's a really good kid. Then, as I said, we have to look at it. At this moment in time, there are players out. He's coming in and working very hard.

Yang was very unlucky not to score against County, that blocked shot looked goal bound, and he was very lively and dangerous on his favoured left wing.

I'm all for persevering with him on the left wing, because I think he has better feet and ball control than Maeda, and equally has pace and a strong physique.

I don't think we should give up on him, because there is a player there.

Just needs a goal and some assists to release the dam.

Plus he cost us about 20p and I’m sure he’s on equivalent wages. We obviously know Maeda is first on the left..and Kuhn on the right. Rodgers himself has said we’re in the market for another winger. If our back ups to them are then Forrest and Yang that’s not a huge issue to me
