    The best thing to do is to go into any Game store and ask for the Gold Membership. It's just under 40 quid and you get Live for a year. You may have to buy a cable for your router. If you have wireless then you will need an wireless adapter. These shoudln't come to much over 10 quid.

    connection MUCH better with wired connections.

    for example, top 50 clans on gamebattles, members of 3 clans use wireless.

    professional gamers also are required to play with a wired connection.

    more chance of lag with a wireless connection.

    get wired.
