You could even have Fabregas in there instead of Busquets.

But Barca have the best midfield currently. Not many players could come in to that and improve it.

Up there but I dont know, other great ones would be...

    Cerezo
    Falcao Zico Socrates Eder

    and

    Jairzinho Gerson Clodoaldo Rivelino

    and

    Vieira Deschamps Petit
    Zidane Djorkaeff

I personally would say Brazil of 1982, Socrates, Falcao, Eder and Zico must be technically the best of all time.

I preffered the midfield of Yaya Toure, Xavi and Iniesta.

Busquets is more important than Fabregas. In my opinion Busquets is the best holding midfielder in the world. He's solid.

I know there's a lot of hate for Busquets but that's just silly in my opinion.

Busquets is much better than Kayal. Its not even close.

Ajax with Neeskens, Haan, Muhren, Rep and Keizer and even Cruyff could be considered a midfielder.

Milan with Gattuso, Seedorf, Pirlo and Rui Costa and Juve with Deschamps, Davids, Conte and Zidane. The old Arsenal midfield was great too Ljungberg, Vieira, Gilberto and Pires.

I think Busquets is suited to Barcelona and they would rather have him than anyone else behind Xavi and Iniesta but I dont know how he would do if he played for another team like Bayern or Milan or Man Utd, he probably wouldnt be seen to be doing enough. Who knows though!?

I think Xavi and Iniesta are two of the greatest ever. Not so much Busquets.

If Busquets didn't dive as much. I'd think he'd be seen as one of the best players in the world.

His passing and ball winning records are simply phenomenal. Barca struggle defensively without him.

He's perfectly suited to Barcelona. He'd struggle elsewhere I think.

Could say the same about Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Valdes, Puyol, Pedro, Cuenca etc.

We'll never know though because they are unlikely to leave. I personally think Busquets would be a asset to any side to be honest.

No you couldn't Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol are world class, up thrre with the greatest ever. Busquets is not and we are yet to see about the others.

Pedro is similiar as well, perfectly suited to Barcelona. Would not be as effective outwith that kind of set up.

I think that is compliments to La Masia.

I would say that Xavi and Iniesta are possibly the best pairing. Apart from others mentioned, Rijkaard and Gullit were great for Milan. There will be plenty of other combinations you could say worked well too.

I don't know how anyone who watches Barcelona every week can suggest that he isn't world class.

I respect your opinions but his honours say otherwise.
