    ...your family/friends/loved ones?

If someone intentionally killed your nearest and dearest, would you feel comfortable killing them in retribution? Could you?

If not, what would stop you from getting revenge? Would it be down to religious faith? A moral/ethical issue? Could you just not actually kill another human being?

Personally, I honestly wouldn't think twice about killing someone if they were to kill/seriously harm a member of my family. * with them and you * with me.

    Over to you.

Rationally prison would be a longer suffering and you wouldn't have to lower yourself to there level but in the heat of the moment people are capable of anything

Depends on why / how they killed my loved one... and also the passage of time between them doing so, and me getting my hands on them.

Depends on why they did it and how close the family member is, two of my cousins were stabbed(didn't die, separate issues) but they were stupid * and it was there own fault so I can't really get upset and go seeking revenge, people don't generally harm others in a way that could result in death without a reason.

Different story if it was a brother/sister or male attacking a female family member.

100% yes, unless of course the OP is a polis, then I completely disagree with murder.
