    Guarentees you a Europa League group slot which I think is going to be even more harder to get into with this new ECL. Any sort of European title win is an achievement though. Especially when you see some of the teams playing in it. Spurs, Roma, Feyenoord, Gent. Decent sides on their day. Not as prestige as the other 2 obviously but we would surely get a decent wee lift financially if we won the whole thing?

    It would be a good achievement but probably not one that would have you in tears of joy like the Europa League as it is more winnable given you are competing with teams who couldnt qualify for the Europa and teams who could only get 3rd in the Group.

    Would depend who we played also, if we got an easy run and final it would be more underwhelming but if we beat a couple of good teams or a bigger team in the final it would seem better.

    I think it is what it is.

    It’s a European tournament and without knowing the opposition I’m pretty sure we’d have to beat one team better than sevco, so it would be the toughest tournament to win for us.

    At the same time it obviously isn’t as good as winning the Europa League.

    IMO a club of our size and budget should regularly be in the latter stages of the Europa League and if we find ourselves in this tournament we should be looking to win it.

    That might seem ridiculous right now but that’s because of years of gross mismanagement.
