Jack and Jill. Almost anything Sandler made after 1996.

Probably one of the asylum movies or similar releases.

    That film is a masterpiece.

It's one of those artsy hidden message types. Which, in my opinion, doesn't belong in the horror genre.:smiley-laughing002:

I don't really watch horrors. I can't find any enjoyment in scaring myself shitless. :56:

I've just read the synopsis. It sounds ridiculous. :smiley-laughing002:

    Awake

It is actually the worst film I've ever seen. I guessed the plot twist and everything withing about the first 10 minutes. Its not so bad its good, its just bad, boring and pointless.

It's not hidden - it's right there on the surface. It's about the mothers spiral into madness, and her subsequent recovery. SHE is the creator and the manifestation of the Babadook (she used to write children books).

I like these type of movies better than blood'n'guts bollox. Mental illness is very real and can be * terrifying. Zombies, vampires, and werewolf are neither!

The Shining is a great example of this type of movie. Never fails to creep me out!

Aye hidden wasn't the right word, I was meaning that the Babadook was just a cover for something else i.e. her going mad.

I'm not a big fan of slasher films either, and I can appreciate a film with a bit more thought in it...but this film just did nothing for me. First of all its meant to be a horror and as I said, it wasn't scary at all. The main actress and the wee boy were a total pain in the hole the entire film.

Zombie films if done properly can be pretty * creepy. Even though they aren't proper zombies, 28 Days Later is far better than The Babadook.

The Shining is along the lines of this, you're right. But it's infinitely better.

Trance. Made no sense whatsoever. Best thing about it was Rosario Dawson shaving her minge.

Some films that were terrible for their budgets.

    Waterworld
    The Mummy Returns
    Indiana Jones 4
    The Matrix 2 and 3

I'm addicted to watching horrors and 99.9% are all mince, but the babadook was up there man.

The worst I've probably seen though is The Grey with Liam Neeson in it. Felt like cutting ma wrists watching it :56:
