    England have the advantage with Croatia having played extra-time and picking up a few injuries.

    Imagine the meltdown if they made it to the final and lost by a rotten deflected OG that bounce on a tuft in the grass...

    Vrsaljko is very doubtful for Croatia, sadly. The likeliest alternatives ATM seem shifting Vida to RB, thus breaking up the CB pairing, or putting Ćorluka at RB. He's slow, but Young is manageable. Nobody seems to trust Tin Jedvaj.

    Never has a team had such an easy route to a World Cup final. There's no argument over that. You can see the English are getting really sensitive about it now.

    Before playing Colombia and Sweden they even wrote them off as poor teams. Now that they have managed to get past the pair of them, and facing the easy opposition accusations, they are all now trying to pretend Colombia and Sweden are world beaters.

    They are a very average side.
