It's like an urban legend in football but its not true. In order for a kick off to be taken both team have to be in their own half.

The referee also needs to give a signal for the kick off to be taken.

Even ignoring those rules, England also made an offside pass in their attempt at a ninja goal. :56:

and the cry was ''this is a young team, wait till 2022!!!'' :56::56: please, give me a * fracture!!

bet you all those teams like Germany, Spain, Argies that hardly turned up are * themselves, ehhh!!

the truth is this was a wide open tournament and they fell into by far the easiest half of the draw and i was starting to get concerned if i'm honest. It was said last night, any realistic England fan knows that was their chance.....they fell short and * it!!

Almost like us scraping through to a last 8/4 of the CL if that happened......you know it won't happen again.

A once in a lifetime, golden opportunity to reach a World Cup Final and they absolutely * it. It'll most likely never come back again in our lifetime. A colossal failure.

they must be * spewing......could and maybe should have wrapped it last night by HT then it was one way traffic after that!! Think Mbappe and co would have saw them off anyway but it's a one-off game and they could have spawned it!!....actually don't think i could have watched it unless France got safe!!

Have they friar tuck, this draw will never happen again and they all knew it.

And let's be honest they played like Wimbledon with long balls, you ain't winning world cups like that.

The US scored 6 against Panama in qualifying, but also kept the clean sheet. That win was maybe the worst thing that could have happened for England. The defeat of a team that needed a horrible ref to award them a non-existent goal on the last day of qualifying to advance over probably the worst US side in history, who beat them worse than England did, is not something to celebrate no matter what the margin. All this "it's coming home" and trying to manipulate the brackets, etc., started after that demolition, and I think that they would have been better served to act more like they were one of the "smaller" sides that were making the tournament exciting rather than a power who had the chance to take advantage of a weak bracket. Croatia were a bit shocked by the goal, but once they got themselves together there was just no way that England were ever going to build anything from open play.

The epitome of delusions of grandeur that mob.

The cringe inducing fans and media seriously thinking that after beating Panama etc they were going to win a World Cup with the likes of Lingard,Henderson,Stones etc

They have a decent but vastly over rated side, the reality is you really need to have at least a couple of world class intelligent gifted players to compete at this level because even when they aren’t firing on all cylinders still make the difference, instead of hoping the old blah blah the war ra ra Churchill English spirit will get them through.

If ye couldnae win a trophy with Ferdinand, Terry, A.Cole, Neville, scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham etc who for the most part were genuine gifted world class players then you have * no chance.

And as for the English fans talking about lack of class shown by Scottish folk... wrecking ambulances and destroying shops win you win a game of football is class.... gie us peace.

Ram yer St George’s flag up yer fat badly heeded tattooed knuckle * pipes

"Should have been 3 or 4 nil up at half time"

    "France will annihilate Croatia"

The fawning over Southgate is embarrassing.

Poor substitutions, sticking with the same under-performing players..."oh but he's so classy and respectful".

They aint getting 3rd either....i always knew either France or Belgium making it to the final would demolish that lot,Belgium in particular have been outstanding one of the standouts in the tournament.

4th is lucky for that mob again considering the easiest route they had.

As i stated last night i hope they keep Southgate over all this pish, hes mediocre at best and again so is that squad....the stats alone for them were shocking,Modric was spot on as well last night with his comments, they think they better than what they are and are total disrepectful to national football.

And well in Keane as well...loved him last night

I'd like to ask anyone who can, to come visit the land of England's nightmares. Would help our state budget, and I can also be a bit of a guide to those who choose Split.
