With rumours of pressure on him, will the board back him in January with substantial funds to better the quality of the squad.

Great question. In general January is not a good time to buy for clubs like us on a tight budget; equally the summer is a bad time for us to buy because the most important games of our season are in August and (hopefully) early September. Quandary.

Another question is whether we want to see him backed, given his spending record so far.

Not to the level that many Celtic supporters would want as we're highly unlikely to spend the sort of money they'd want the club to spend.

I think we'll get a maximum of two transfers in, maybe one out. I don't see any significant additions to the squad happening next month but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Although I am in the camp of wanting Deila sacked, I think we should give him this transfer window to try to repair some of the damage done from the first half of the season.

He'll probably be given about 2-3m, plus whatever he sells. So 2 in, 1 out would be my guess. Possibly a loan too... that's the best case scenario. he might also get noone in, and just a single loan

The additions of GMS and Armstrong last season did generally improve our performances last season

If he fails we will be leaving less of a budget for a new manager. I are however badly in need of a striker as we are too reliant on the thumb

Unfortunately it did not improve our performances in Europe. We don't need to improve to win the league

I think he'll be told to sell before he buys. Or we'll get some useless loan deal in.

ST and CB are two positions we desperately need to fill. Kozak and Sviatchenko would be two excellent signings.

He's said on many occassions he wants a 1st Team squad of max 23. He's already said - this morning's paper - Boyata & Simu need time to work together, so as much as I think we need a hard nosed, no messing CB, can't see it. He's brought in Cifci & Cole (contract till 2017) and has talked about bringing Stokes back into the fold. So if he brings in another striker then that'll make 5 for the 1 position up front - unless Stokes is wide left like last year. Someone has to go. Who? He's bringing Christie in so he can work with him for 6 months before the CL Qualifiers. Another No10 or converted wide man.

We've got an abundance of bodies but no one special, so unless they have that 'something' why add more to the pile?

No. They've barely backed him so far, I see no reason why they would now.
