You've based this on what exactly?

 

Two centre backs, if we lose Van Dijk. If not, just the one.

A striker if we don't get Guidetti.

Think that's it. We have plenty of options in midfield and up top. Matthews can fill in at both rb and lb and Mulgrew can play lb aswel so not to worried about that problem.

 

Its always the centre back position... We got 2 solid now but come summer and well probably have 0...

 

Izzys goes till 2017 and Lustigs 2018

 

It looks like there is a consensus. 2 Centre backs and Denayer on loan. Competition for Izzy and I would say Guidetti or another striker.

 

I am all for bringing in quality and I don't want to see us bringing in anyone to sit on the bench or worse still rarely make the match squad . For that reason I cannot understand why we should be going for a left back . Izzy could well finish the season as player of the year . Izzy likes nothing better than tearing up and down the wing all match every match .

 

Mulgrew can cover LB if needed. But he can also cover CB. Another promoted youth player if possible would be adequate cover for LB in my opinion behind Izzy, Mulgrew, even Matthews if required.
CB is a priority for summer.

 

Hopefully a young left back prospect and at least 1 centre back depending on the Denayer situation and VVD will he/ wont he saga. I think another 1st team wide player will be sought and possibly a striker. Names!!! * knows lol , I've every faith Ronny has the scouts working their tails off as he's that efficient.
