Worst sport that people actually watch. Stand around punch each other for no reason! Let me get a concussion. A dead sport from the eighties. HA! HA! HA!

Boxings OK, a good sport. For me as I've said before I prefer MMA fights as they have more skills involved and fights only get stopped when the guy is actually KO'd or submits. Much more like real fighting.

Boxing is pretty much dead in the states on tv. Only coverage it gets is on the premium channels. And most here dont have premium channels since we get around 300 channels without premium. Rarely see it on any channel except the contender on espn.

Just seen a thingy on BBC News 24.

    In Germany

11 ROUNDS OF BOXING - OK, BUT WAIT FOR IT.

Between each round they play a game of Chess in the middle of the ring. What the *!!!!

I like the odd game of Chess but I don't knock out my opponent with a punch. Guess they are trying to appeal to chess nerds :56:

I like watching good boxers fighting real fights and not these kid on fights against no hope challengers for a mega purse!!

    * Shameless is on, ta ta!!

Greatest sport there is. Top boxers have every single attribute you need in to sucseed in sport : skill, power, speed, stamina, strength, intellegence, bravery, toughness, dexterity, concentration, tactical acumen, explosivness, ability to perform under extreme pressure - everything. If boxing is pointless then its only because every other sport is too.:50:

you could ban boxing tomorrow and then what

you have hundreds off underground fights with bare fists etc. people dying all because someone thought a controlled fight between professional sportsmen was barbaric. don't like don't watch.
