Eastern Croatia Slavonian region I've been to and the food was unreal, more typically Balkan bbq than you see out at the coast.

Hungarien food is a real dark horse, nobodys knows of it really outside Ghoulash, but has been my favourite cuisine for years now.

I’m not much if a meat eater so that was lost in me as well as they seem to like their pork.

I was in Paris a few years back, decided to try the snails. To be honest, they're not bad, but most of the flavour came from the garlic oil they were served in.

Must say Spanish tapas, lots of booze and tapas so you chew away without being stuffed, just picking your way through lots of finger food.

Best food I've tasted abroad was in Tunisia. A lot of it consists of lamb but I haven't got a clue what some of the other ingredients were it was all lovely. The breakfast dish they also do is excellent and looks like eggs done in a tomato type base with loads of different herbs and spices with loads of pita breads to soak up the juices. Maybe someone on here will know the name of the breakfast dish
