Glasgow. Ya can't beat a battered Snickers or I think it was a battered marathon the last time I had one. I think there was a few other things thrown in aswell though I'm * if I remember because was always steamed eating them.

All jokes aside though, Chinese, indian where my favorites but now I can't eat anything like thst or if I do chance it, it's on rare occasions and I suffer badly for days after. I * loved thst food too :( So it's boring food for me for now on.

If you’re talking about a cuisine I could comfortably eat over the long term - Thai and Spanish both stand out.

Both countries have excellent food scenes (Spain is severely underrated) and rely on an abundance of fresh ingredients. They can be healthy or indulgent, spicy or mild, and have a balance of meat, vegetables and fish.

I like Indian and Mexican too, but I wouldn’t want to eat either every day. Greek, Italian and French are all good European cuisines too, but I think Spain edges them.

    Link or pics.

Only places I’ve had ‘veg pakora’ in England they’ve literally deep fried a carrot stick or a bit of cauliflower in batter :42:

Fron Yorkshire to London, never had proper pakora. Or a proper Chinese curry for that matter without peas and all that other * added.

Can't comment on the Chinese curry as I never order them when I get Chinese. I do get what you mean with some of the authentic stuff turning your stomach though. My mother in law had me trying chicken feet in Singapore, bogging. :giggle1:

Think you can get it even in some supermarkets like Morrisons off the delhi counter..

Don't think I've ever noticed it off a menu in an Indian though. Definitely never had any pakora down here that's even remotely close to up the road or the sauce. Used to get one just off Duke Street when younger that I can almost taste right now :giggle1:

had the same problem down in London, couldn't get any decent pakora anywhere until I found a place on Ilford lane just outside Barking.
1st time I went in and opened the door a wee moose ran oot, but it was good pakora.
went to a restaurant in Londons chinatown and it was minging, peas in everything :99:
should have left when I seen the menu, fried jellyfish and deep fried sea cucumber ??? (both starters)

Where are you lads going that you get peas in everything? Not something I've experienced myself.

Persian - loved practically every dish I've tried.

Italian is just behind then Mexican and Greek.

If I had to choose one cuisine for the rest of my life it would be Italian.

    They nail mains and deserts.

    Indian or Portuguese.

Not a single thing on an Indian menu I wouldn't love.

Portugal does the best fish in the world, and the meat is sensational too. Nothing too fancy in the diet, amazing quality and simple ingredients. Fish, potatoes, veg and wine.

I had it in Madrid recently, I mind also having it in Zagreb before. It's different and not like Glasgow pakora with the sauce you get here but same type of thing.

Without the sauce it’s just deep fried chicken in batter you get everywhere.
