Looking to buy a new TV, 55/58 inch. Currently have a Sony bravia 42 inch, bought it in 2013.

Will pay £400 max for a new one but loads of different ones to choose from. Mostly watch netflix and play ps4 on it. So know that the minimum specs to look at would be 4k, hdr10, 3/4 hdmi ports and 60hz. Heard that hdmi 2.1 ports are to come out later in the year.

Anyway what you guys got, anyone bought new ones lately and can recommend one. Seen a few hisense ones, but never heard of them before

Sony Bravia I have too. Love it so much, the sound from it is brilliant.

Had it about 13 years. Does the business.

I have a Phillips ambilight tv in my living room and it has been brilliant. Wasn't sure if I'd use it much or think it was too gimmicky but I think its class. You can see demos of it on youtube.

The model I got was 55PUS7383/12 and about 550 quid. That was a few year ago it was on offer and we needed a cheap tele for the living room.
