    It was 32ºC here today, felt horrendous in the house even with two fans going full blast. The humidity was minging. Went for a run when it was cooler at about 8pm and it was still roasting. Had to wait until 10pm to walk the dog and he was still panting like mad after a brief 25 min walk.

    Left Glasgow at 7am and the rain was stoating off the ground, thunder and lightning, was like the apocalypse.
    25mins later at the back of Cumberland, bone dry.
    Half way to Perth, and it looks like it's going to be a lovely day.

    Woke up by one absolutely massive bang of thunder about 730, but haven't heard anything since. * weird wake up call, had my window open as well. Hope to see a big lightning storm later but doubt it will materialise.

    Green bin - household rubbish , nothing re-cyclable
    Blue bin - plastics and metals
    Purple bin - glass & bottles
    Black bin - papers & card
    Brown bin - garden waste ( never a lot in that , compost bins for that )
    A lot of good people were laid off when they got us to separate rubbish , we are really gullible at times we do the work and councils up the community tax .
