Just curious really, but i noticed whenever Burleys name comes up on the forum he seems to get some stick, loved the guy as player but his commentating is pretty poor - but anyway why does he get so much stick fae are fans? have i missed a trick has he done something wrong?

Was nothing but a troublemaker in the dressing room when he played for celtic. He got forced out the door in the end. Decent player on his day for us though.
* of a pundit, never really liked the guy. -
slaughters us at every opertunity. he has the hump because he was punted at a time when he was about the only player we could have got a decent bit of money for.

honestly matei dont know what his problem with us is now? but he needs to * off back down to england out the road then! to me he has no heart nor desire to be up here now. -
When Aiden was sent off for allegedly diving he called him a "cheat" several times.never used this word for laffatme or mcgregor when they feigned injury and the camera proved there was no contact.The guy obviously does not like us and makes perfectly clear every time he is on tv.Bitter little man...

Great midfielder for us, He was immense at making forward runs. I will treat him with respect for the contribution he made to the club. People forget Rangers probably would have done the 10 if it wasn't for him.

Good goalscoring midfielder, knew how to time his runs and shot on sight. We could be doing with more of his type really.
Doesn't detract from the fact he makes a living off chastising Celtic fans the same way 75%+ of the rest of the Scottish based media do. We rise to it, they continue poking the fire, gain themselves some publicity and then make money off it.
Shower of moral *'s, Burley included. -
He supported rangers before we signed him apparently all of his family support rangers.
Before every old firm game he always chooses rangers to win apart from when we did well under strachan and he said I will have to "sit on the fence"

Yeah but i heard he is a gambler and was in a heep of debt. Perhaps being outrageous anti celtic and loud is part of the act. If he needs to work to earn money then that could be what is expected of him. 99% of people * themselves out in order to eat, its called working. I think that Burley is a legend. Judge him by that 1 season alone. He was immense and helped us to win the league. Whatever he says after that does not change the fact that he played a huge role in stopping the 10.

he has tarnished his reputation with us tbh! to me he`s a nothing now.
