What areas need strengthening?

Doc said it was changed to a mixed fibre, so might be a Desso actually just Brendan saying it was Astro

 

Ok so we are totally in command in our match vs astana and the deadwood is all but gone barring Ciftci, i still expect henderson to be moved on before window closes and also maybe thinking is Gamboa going also as he doesnt seem to get a lookin.

So looking at our squad this is what we can put on pitch, where do we need to strengthen realsitically?

Need a few improvements for the Champions League. A top quality centre back, Patrick Roberts and I would like to see a left back brought in.

 

LB, CB & Paddy please..

We need real quality to choose from at the back like we do in midfield..

In the midfield I'm happy with Ntcham, Brown, Eboue, Armstrong, McGregor & Rogic any variation of those players and the side isn't weakened, we can't say that at the back..

If we add real quality at CB and LB I'd be delighted this would allow us to rest KT now and then and we should be aiming for a step up from Boyata, Sviatchenko at CB..

Then Paddy would give us that extra quality..

 

I hope Brendans straight on the phone to PL demanding cash for an established centre half. If Simunovic picks up an injury we're up * creek, or if we draw a team like Spartak Moscow(?) with an astroturf pitch.

 

Gives me the fear going into the group stages with Lustig at RB, prone to being roasted at that level.

Can't say that stuff on here mate unacceptable stuff, we all know he will have the likes of Neymar , Reus, Insigne in his back pocket...

 

Play him at centre half

 

Not convinced Gamboa is the answer either however I can only base that on the fleeting appearances we've seen him make. It's probably a position I'd look to go into the market for.
