What areas need strengthening?

CB Brendan's drunken ramblings about Bitton at CB are so wide if the mark.

Probably a striker and yep, you guessed it, Paddy.

 

We're battling to qualify for the CL and kick off 7IAR today and our squads depleted in defense and up top. I understand BR only bringing in players to better the squad etc but I'd liked to have seen even a couple of johnny average players here as cover for situations like the now. Also wonder if Sinclair needs competition to push him on

 

What areas need strengthening?

The Standing Section and The Green Brigade

 

Two CB's and one right back that doesn't * it against Europe's best and we are heading past the group stages.

 

Right winger who is going to walk into the side we need another winger in the quality of Sinclair.

Centre half is another must, we are clearly sort in the department and need some quality to play next to big Jozo.

Another creative player in the middle of the park would be nice.

Left back cover and we need someone who is going to take over from Gordon as well.

What I would really like is a winger and a centre half anything less than that will be a massive disappointment.

 

A right back of the quality and youth of Tierney and we are made.

 

Honestly think we're fine at the moment, people are always talking about getting rid of the dead wood. Now we got rid of the dead wood and people want more dead wood.

A winger would be nice. But if they're not going to be first team quality than I'd rather no one

 

A winger and another striker.

So Paddy Roberts and some * who can play up top.

 

We don't need a ST and a RW. Paddy, or another RW who can play ST will suffice..

 

Nah I'd rather both.

Punt Armstrong and get Ledley in on a free.

 

Decent shout.

 

I reckon he's the type of player the gaffer would love in the squad aswell.

 

Ledley likely to cost more in wages then Armstrong so doesn't seem like a smart move for me, on form I don't there is anything between them either.

We could do with a lb, Paddy and maybe a decent young prospect for striker.

 

I'd be happy with just Paddy Roberts tbh!

Would still like another CB, as I don't feel Ajer and Bitton have been tested enough back there.

 

Only us, ehhh!! One experienced player but not at CB and the other's an inexperienced CB!!

Close call but if pushed and no incomings then Ajer i think!!

ps-as you say though Gyp neither really tested yet....you could argue Bitton in Norway but not for me
