    Just cant get enough
Solid performance tonight from the bhoy's especially without a striker for most of the two games.

I think that it's evident we are still some way off being being a last 16 side. The defence is definitely still shakey and in my opinion we still lack a bit of a spark on the wings.

For me a centre back has got to be priority.ajer is looking competent but haven't seen enough to judge and we should definitely be looking for a better quality back up than svitichenko and boyata. We also need a right back. Listing for me has been looking off the pace in the past few months towards the end of the season and has carried that into this one. Final ball has been poor.. struggles to get tackles in and doesn't have the engine anymore for this formation in my opinion.

We also need a more creative player in the midfield. For me we rely too much on rogic especially given his injury record. We will struggle in Europe this season playing with hayes and forrest.

Perhaps less important but still something I would like to see is a bigger target man as a third striker. Someone that you can target in the box when we are struggling to break a team down. Certainly could have done with that over the first leg and first half of the 2nd.

What kind of positions would you like to see us strengthen before the next qualifier or before the group stages in Europe at least?

I think tonight shows that we need another CB and definitely another striker or at least a versatile player than can play in that position also.

Right winger, centre half, right back in that order.
We've got enough quality for other positions if everyone is fit.

Right winger (paddy bhoy) and CB (Jozo twin/clone) think were good at RB Lustig/Gamboa/Ralston

Kierney is the only one that gets better than we think we are pass marks.

someone who can unlock defenses with a killer pass, we always go wide and theres nothing wrong with that until it becomes too predictable

This tie has shown we need another striker. I get we only play with one up front, but two excellent - yet injury prone - strikers isn't enough. Ideally somebody also capable of playing wide so they can get game time even when Moussa & Griff are fit.

Another striker, even though it'll be hard to get a 3rd choice striker good enough for cover in Europe tonight showed we are much more direct and threatening with a natural forward.

Centre back as well as they're all dropping like flies at the minute. Right wing is a given as Hayes on the right looks too unnatural and Forrest needs competition to keep his game up.

Lustig can provide good cover for CB but he's a liability in CL with lack of pace, Gamboa I like but he's not played enough and Rodgers doesn't seem to fancy him that much but can cover left back as well. Ralston I would hope gets the chance but inexperienced.
Also Lustig I feel is nearing the end of his career here so best to get a replacement in sooner.

I don't think we need another striker, Griff is good enough for the next round and we'll have Moussa back before group stages.
Aitchison is ready to step up, should be on the bench for the Hearts game and get him some minutes on the pitch.

A no.10 is one of our strongest positions-
    Rogic
    Armstrong
    McGregor
    Benyu
    Christie(when he's back)

Rogic had the quality for Europe just needs to keep upping his fitness level.

    First choice right winger.
    Centre half to partner Jozo.
Back up striker and maybe a back up left back.

Inside right. We still need that creativity there.

Centre half as well but I don't think we're as vulnerable as people make out defensively.

    Cover at left-back.

A centre-back is probably advisable given we're short at the minute and let a few go during the summer. I'd actually happily just bring back Kolo Toure as the problem is more short-term than anything although an upgrade on what we have wouldn't be unwelcome either. We could maybe even just go with a centre back capable of playing left-back so long as they're solid defensively as left-back is more a cover issue.

Still wouldn't say no to an anchor man to sit in front of the defence in the Wanyama mould, although Brown has done an excellent job as a defensive midfielder under Rodgers.

A solution to the shortage of strikers - I think if both Griffiths and Dembele are fit, the need for a third out-and-out striker is pretty much zero. However, I'd maybe look at trying to sign a utility man in the form of a striker who's comfortable and happy to play on the wing or vice versa. This way we have cover for the striker position but can also keep them in and around the first team picture through rotation; it would also allow us to more easily switch to playing two up top which could come in handy tactically. Right now we have three players competing for two positions (Sinclair, Forrest, Hayes on the left/right flanks) but we could probably accommodate one more and still give everyone game time across the course of a season, especially if one can play striker.
