Recently got gifted a keg 5L keg tap, which is fine and all, and there is the novelty of it as well as the temptation, lol. But for the most part the kegs are pretty expensive. Even on the more affprdable end of the spectrum is, say Heineken for £20 per keg, which is still actually more expensive than buying it by the can/bottle etc. Most though are in the £25-30 range. Not that have a problem with that, as its going to be more for the craft beer rather than the standard, 'let's get schmanoogled' brews, lol and still have a 4 or 6 pack in the fridge anyhow still, lol.

But my question is, does anyone else have one of these, and if so, any particular recommendations for these kegs?

I'll be drinking anything if we don't get a manager in soon (but preferably some Edinburgh Gin) to sort out the mess our club is in.

I can honestly say that is the first time I've ever heard of that saying in relation to getting pished -well I hope it's referring to drink and not the literal meaning. :56:

Ever tried the surger cans? Got some with an ultrasonic machine. Was very nice. Will need to drink a Draught can on the same night to compare.

Guinness used to do these ultrasonic machines for the surger cans. Some pubs who don't have Guinness on draught would use them. They don't do the machines any more but everyone buys ultrasonic jewellery cleaner machines now on Amazon etc, does the same job. Pour your pint from the surger can , place in machine and press button and you can watch it settle like it does in the pub
