    It just rings of bitterness in the extreme mate when you come out with stuff like that.I mean i could perhaps understand some leftie anti monarchy type coming away with that.........but you want a Scottish monarchy!!!

    The problem is not monarchy per se. It is the nature of the monarchy he appears to support that is the problem. The 'British' monarchy is overtly anti-Catholic so if Murray bows down to it and accepts honours from it then he is a * in my eyes.

    That's the difference.

    When you don't like him for him - thats fine. However some of the arguments people have used in order to dislike him are just ludicrous and bitter.

    People seem to be applying the sins of the U.K. to Andy, as if he is the natural embodiment of the empire or something.

    I have said i dont mind him as a person.
    It is what he has done, as a Scotsman that i have a gripe with.
    I would support most Scotsmen that considers himself Scottish.

    The Monarch should not be the head of any Church and I think they should be granted freedom of religious conscience. Obviously my hope is that they would choose to follow the Catholic faith.
