I’m sure the Greek boy on here said Barkas wasn’t the best with the ball at his feet. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how comfortable he looks in possession.

I remember seen that now you say that but as you say certainly can’t fault him thus far.

Forster was a quality keeper but wasn’t the greatest with the ball at his feet and we all know what Gordon was like before him… abysmal.

Barkas hasn’t really been tested at all so far but he looks so composed and calm. I have noticed that he isn’t afraid to put the ball on the deck and play it short and he has pinged some great diagonals out to Taylor and Frimpong.

It’s early days yet but I think he will be like Forster in the sense that he makes the defence and the rest of the team so calm as they know he is reliable when called upon.

I can't remember where I read it, think it was an athletic article, but one of his coaches said it used to be his worst attribute but he's spent the last few seasons working hard on it, so he's still not the best but seemingly much better with the ball than he used to be.

His distribution is excellent, constantly looking to get the ball moving fast.
    Looks calm and composed.

Held onto a very solid strike which I enjoyed.

The place has been sorely lacking a big, sexy Greek for a few years now. Good to see that hole in the club's soul is now filled.

Hasn't been tested but looks the part doing the routine goalkeeping so far! Very good with the ball at his feet!

Scout report I read said he had better distribution than any of our recent goalies.

Until his hair is silky long and to his shoulders that hole will never be filled.

We should bring in Sammy as club hair coach.

Big man looked super comfortable and as stated above their was a powerful strike that stuck to his gloves when I thought, possible trouble.

Have a weakness for Greece so he'll get plenty of leeway from me. :D

His distribution is outstanding. Feel ultra relaxed when the ball gets fizzed back to him or he's under pressure..

Looks quality and hasn't put a foot wrong whatsoever..

Has looked composed but will reserve proper judgement till he is in a game where we are under the cosh.

What he has had to do so far, hes done well.

Should have done better for both goals especially the 2nd. Coming out from his post like that was criminal and beyond stupid.

Didn't fill me with confidence tonight. Let him off with the first one but the second goal forster saves that every time. Literally had two saves to make tonight and didn't save either.

I know this bhoy hasnt been in long but I find myself trying to compare him to FF. Maybe I'm just hurting from tonight but I dont think hes the same standard as FF. Fingers crossed a few more games and he'll settle in nicely.

*Disclaimer note - I havent watched any away games so can only judge on the Hamilton and 2 CL games so my view could well be obsucred and happy to be corrected.
