    Couple of games I seen him I thought this kid is good another few times iv seen him I thought * me their whole defence is * not just him, I think he will be a welcome addition to the club he should stroll it up here the negativity in this thread is terrible we need another centre back to handle the amount of games we have to play we get one who may or may not work out for us and already folk have marked him down as pure *.

    For it's a grand old team...
    The main problem with him being a back up or good in the SPL shouldn't be the point. We should be looking at players who can cut it in Europe at the minimal which I doubt he can.

    Another sign of the current downsizing going on at our club, which will inevitably lead to dwindling attendances, lack of enthusiasm on the fan's parts and a fall in our own standards and competitiveness. I defy any Celtic fan to be content with that set up.

    We already have Boyata who is beginning to resemble Ambrose more each game with his lack of concentration and weakness, and if early reports about Blackett are to be believed, we may end up with 3 Ambroses strung across our defence. :54:

    We should have been investing in players like Mechele or the Big Croat to replace Van Dijk.

    I think he could do well here. Though if this was to be Virgil's replacement then there is something seriously wrong at the club.

    Guys, all of the big players we've sold on in recent times have arrived at the club flawed but with good foundations, and we've knocked the dents our of them. I defy anyone to look back at the blog when forster, Bitton, griffiths, wanyama or even van Dijk arrived and miss the negativity and the kneejerks to bad matches. All turned out great for us - with effort and the right attitudes. I'm quietly optimistic about this guy (if we gave a buy option) and boyata, janko and tierney. That could be a young defence we develop, are loyal to us and we see for a long time. The prospect of a young, fit pack of defenders is brilliant, and should be something we embrace, not shy away from

    Dead money yet again ,if he's good enough buy him !!!! there is a not a chance in * of us spending 4 million on him in a years time .let's face it in the remote possibility he turns out to be truly amazing player he won't sign for us in a years time anyway because we won't pay him enough.just another bluff signing not buying it lawwell
