I know that but he is supposedly telling people at home that the reasons he left are transfer funds etc.
I know he is all about himself, and I always took it with a pinch of salt that he was this proper Celtic supporter all his life.

 

I understand like any supporter I want us to buy better every window. I find it hard to be disappointed with the way we are going considering we have won the last 10 domestic trophies & are still on for the treble with one in the bag.
we also qualified early & looked excellent in the EL.
So no I’m not disappointed, as above, I would always want us to improve every window, but that might or might not have happened this time, but the 2 new guys, griff returning & other first team picks getting over injuries / suspension & keeping Eduard is no reason for me to feel disappointment & I'm not sure why others do.

I know it’s not a barometer really, but we have had many many far worse windows & times.

I hope to see karamoke & okoflex maybe a few others get some game time in the run in as well.
Plus we got a couple of fringe players off our books.

Lennon wanted 4 signings and a deviation from the transfer policy to bring in some experience.

He got 2 x 21 year olds who have played for mid-table teams in provincial leagues. Whether they play a significant part in the next 6 months remains to be seen.

Lennon put his own reputation on the line by taking us over at this pivotal point in the club's history and made what most believe to be reasonable requests, which haven't been met.

If we lose the league this season while £40 million+ sits in our bank account it will be the end for some on the board. Whether they realise that strength of feeling, I'm not sure; but they will be chased out of town.

 

Has the “it’s tricky to get deals done in January” dead horse been flogged yet?

We’ve came out of this window weaker than we started it in my opinion - at least in the short run. Sinclair would’ve been on the left (though probably not knowing Lennon). Now are very short in quality there as I suspect Elyonoussi is nowhere near fit enough to play.

Also, we are carrying three players with proven injury records at centre back. None of them can be relied upon to be fit for the remainder of the season.

We also have no right winger to compete or replace Forrest.

* forbid, if we were to lose Forrest and Jullien/Ajer to injury, we would be in a very bad position.

 

Just tell the guy not to shine in them in the LW area of the pitch and we're all good.

 

If we signed maybe one more it'd have been great, but right now we bought someone who can take pressure off the right back and a striker that plays either wing. Playmaker and striker. No defenders. Signed plenty of defenders in the Summer. We're not usually leaking goals and we only lost out in the derby game from missing a penalty. No panic signings, no duds. Sevco signed two.

If we had lost Eddie, then this window would have been an absolute disaster;
surely the main goal was to keep him and we've accomplished that.

I reckon we're maybe saving the pennies for the summer andor at least the 10.

This is it tbh, the rat left us with some amount of *. Him and his mate Congerton set us back years, but what a genius the guy was eh.

Transfer window a mixed bag.
Happy we did not loose any of our stars, glad we did not sign any squad fillers.
Unhappy that we never signed the 2 lads from Saints permanently, and would like to have seen a marquee signing.
Also, could do with trimming squad, so unhappy about not being to offload deadwood/non contributors.
