    You just know by looking at these players that they’re gonna have a tremendous work rate on the pitch, 100% from the first minute until the 90th. Daizen looks like a pure beast aswell just looks such a powerful runner

    I see Japan has just implemented new restrictions. I wonder if they’ll go down the domestic players route again.

    The club had been hoping to hear this morning whether players were being called up, but haven’t heard a thing from the Japanese FA.

    I’d imagine that’s because they’ve pushed back their squad decision due to restrictions changing, but it does give a little hope that MAYBE our bhoys aren’t being called up.

    They are playing a friendly tomorrow (or today over there already) with an entirely j-league call-up. Maeda and Hatate were on the list until they transferred to us.

    The two upcoming games are to be played at the same venue as well I think.

    Add to that the Japanese government Increasing restrictions its certainly not going to help with or encourage shipping in players from across the world.

    We could just be in luck here.

    Whatever the decision … it will need to be pretty soon as they play on the 27th.

    Was there not talk last month of them moving their games outside japan to a neutral ground if restrictions in and out of the country were increased, so they could bring in euoropean based players more easily?

    That’s not happening.

    The belief at Celtic is that none of the four players are being called up. Absolutely * massive if true.
