    28 at Motherwell where he reaches the first team, moves to Celtic and is handed the number 14 shirt. Logical progression is he becomes Celtic's number 7 in the next 3 years!

    I'd say it would be more of a not playing him against the team we just signed him from. We were in control so there was no need anyway.

    It was the correct decision to not bring him on today. Against players he was probably training with a few days ago, in a game we were cruising after the 2nd. He wasn't needed and best to leave him out that one.

    Must say hadn't seen much of him before we tried to get him last season, just highlight packages but twice I watched Motherwell this season solely for the purpose of getting a look at him and he was head and shoulders above everyone on the park. Got high hopes for him.

    When we signed him I didn't realise we were up against Motherwell straight away. That would have been daunting for him. His 1st celtic game will be a big thing for him, playing it against the team you support and been at until now would have been horrible for him and taken the magic away.

    Was just thinking this if hypothetically none of our CMs move on where does Turnbull get his chance?

    Ntcham is the obvious on I guess and talk of Rogic being away too but he gets so few minutes taking his place isn’t going to change much.

    What I have seen of Turnbull I think he looks a good player, has an eye for goal, decent delivery from set plays and likes to play with his head up giving him good awareness. Hopefully he can make the step up and add some spark to our play.
