    He'd bully defences and look like a world beater at times in the spl,but his finishing isn't good at all whenever I've seen him...

    50/50 on whether this would be a good move,probably on big wages aswell

    There were celebrations when he left West Ham a lovely lad but one of the most frustrating players to watch his nickname is Carlton * Cole because of this.

    We could do A LOT better.

    I have always liked Cole, he was getting linked with us and a lot of premiership sides when he was leaving Chelsea and at the time he said that if he had a choice between signing for us or getting big money playing for a mid table EPL side that never had the chance of winning anything he would choose Celtic every time, unfortunately we never followed up our interest in him then.

    England aren't exactly strong up front and he can't get in their team. What I've seen of him, he looks capable but very, very inconsistent.

    Cole is English, playing in England. Hooper is irrelevant.

    That fact Cole can't get into such a dreadful national team - when they are seemingly handing out caps to any piece of * playing there - is telling.
