    The line-up is very close to the way I'd expect us to line-up for our first competitive match. Only change would be Rogne for Wilson, probably.

    Lustig will be playing ahead of Matthews in a back three. That's why he was signed, as explained by Mjallby.

    Brown shouldn't play ahead of Forrest, nor Kayal. Ledley is irreplaceable. Perhaps you could drop Commons for Brown to bolster the midfield, but I'd prefer we didn't. He's our main creative outlet from the midfield.

    Not sure where Izzy fits in. Forgot about him, actually. I guess you could drop Mulgrew (ha), play Wanyama in central defence and have Izzy in a more left-sided role, but that'd kind of disrupt the 3-4-1-2 formation we're attempting.

    Lustig will NOT play in a back 3 or in a back 4 when everybody is fit. It's a total myth that somehow a guy that looks weak playing as a RB will suddenly be strong and physical enough to play as a CB, it's not going to happen and thank *. I hope he comes good but the signs aren't positive. People need to stop having an 'ideal 11' unless you're referring to a specific game as injuries and suspensions will always occur. Hopefully by our qualifier in 2 weeks, we'll have atleast 1 key signing. :50:
