He didn't specify how long but I thought it predated Hammond.

 

This guy will never come good for us. You can just tell with some players they just aren't good enough at all.

 

He looks genuinely terrified, bet he doesn’t sleep the night before a game.

Think we should be looking at hiring what ever goal keeping coach and defensive coach Greece had in this setup if they can get the defence and Barkas playing like this lol

 

Indeed. But here's a question that might be relevant. Has anyone verified Barkas can speak English and communicate with the defense? Doesn't explain why his positioning is *, or his reflexes non-existent, mind.

 

I've said it before Even his highlight reels don't contain loads of spectacular saves, shots straight at him that he dives and pushes wide are about it. Need to cut our losses and never play him again.

 

Clearly a stand in

 

I think its the way the defence and keeper work together in that greek setup where as we’re every man for himself lol

 

Defence have no confidence in him. And in fairness sure how much confidence he will have in Ralston/Taylor etc

 

He does speak English.

 

Basically everybody under the age of 50 in Greece can speak English

 

It's very telling that in a highlights clip nearly six minutes long there were only seven saves, and only one of which could be classified as impressive.

The rest were bare minimum stuff, which I accept probably seems impressive since he seems incapable of doing even that since he's been our GK.

 

The decent save I. First half he pulled off against Antonio closer look he actually flaps at it wrist flap all over the place ... keeper hand not meant to be firm to stop ball getting through ... guys never a keeper

Yep.

I counted six. And 4 of them were from the same game. All of them were standard as * and it would be expected of ANY keeper to make, nevermind an international.

Highlight video of nearly six minutes, first full minute and a half was him standing about like a * goon.
Outwith the standard "saves", the other 3 and a half minutes were just him scooping up loose balls, pointing at something, collecting garbage crosses (which even these he makes look like he's falling out of a toilet lavatory, head and shoulders down, knees up, collecting into his stomach ffs) and passing the ball 10 yards to a defender.

Who the * bothered to edit that * together ffs .

Must've been his agent or his wife, trying to justify his * existence.

I could take a Nokia phone from a decade ago, go to the local park, and make more impressive highlight video of a 50 year old Vietnamese guy doin goalie in-between smoke breaks and hawking lottery tickets.

We've been well and truly done over. His previous club must be laughing their arses off.

 

He's a lot worse than Schiedt. I was at the game against Aberdeen where he played at Celtic Park, pretty sure we won 4-0, he was pretty solid.

He played against Dundee at dens Park I'm sure and we won 6-2 and he played against St Johnstone where we won 4-1.

There were no Duffy/Ambrose moments against anybody, okay he wasn't memorable in a positive fashion, but he never made a * of it on the pitch, his name and his transfer fee where what created the circus. Aye he hardly played but signings like Barkas have been much worse. Barkas has made so many * of it I've lost count. T rex arms.
