    He was pish, goal aside.

The point is Forrest, Christie and Ntcham were all having a poor game. It was the ideal time to stick Bayo up top with Edouard. Chasing a goal and you take of your best striker...it's madness. Particularly given he was our only attacker who actually looked sharp and on his game.

Interesting the way people see games, i thought everything was going through Christie, all our big chances were going through him and he scored. Was happy with him.

Eddy for me had one of those games he just looked like he couldn’t be * after the first 20 mins or so don’t think he got into it at all.

Christie was trying to do everything on his own and it was killing us. Mental shots from 25/30 yards. Bayo was teeing one up on the volley and Christie flew in front of him with a pish header. Just completely killed a few of our attacks and let Hibs regroup and take a breather.

Edouard's ball control and link up play was fantastic. But he had zero service because the three behind him were rotten. Needed someone close to him to bounce off.

The header annoyed me as well, outwith that I couldn’t disagree more. Eddy was doing my nut in, just wasn’t making any sort of movement, very static, didn’t really try to make anything happen. Just chalked it up to one of they days for him, can’t expect him to play every game like he has been.

Last 15 I’d have probably taken McGregor off for Bayo instead of Eddy, because aye he is good for a goal even when he’s not playing well but that’d be sacrificing the shape and risking losing the game as well on the counter.

He looks excellent IMO, lacks composure but that will come.

Had some great touches as well though. Still not sure what to think of him but he's not good enough to be 2nd choice right now.

Would have liked to see him on earlier, especially with Brother Beaton allowing them hammer throwers to hack at Eddy

Think there’s a player there, but needs the game time. Should start Wednesday, along with a couple other fringe players

Only good touch I can remember when him getting it then laying it back for Eddy..

He's far too rusty just now. We need to play that out of him..

Difficult to make an impact with just 15-20 minutes here and there. When he’s started he’s looked a player - 1 goal, 1 assist vs Thistle and forced the 2 goals vs Hearts.

The game against St Mirren should be an ideal time to give him the start with the cup semi on the horizon.

    Bitton Christie
    Elyounoussi Rogic Hayes
    Bayo

That team would do me midweek, allow Elhamed, Bolingoli, Brown, McGregor, Forrest and Edouard a rest for the semi. Elyounoussi on the right and Hayes should be able to stand up a few crosses for Bayo, Christie and Rogic playing through the middle and Frimpong doing his usual and Taylor needing to make an impression should be enough to get the win.

I think he'll come good. Obviously, not the same level as Edouard but I think he has something about him.

Difficult to get a run and gain confidence.. He's a presence and has pace, but his touch is a worry.
